What are Manufacturing processes?

A Manufacturing Process is any changing of features of Materials. However there are different ways of changing features of Materials:

1. Primary Shaping
2. (Metal) Forming - i.e. Casting, moulding, pressing
3. Cutting
4. Joining
5. Survace Coating (Painting galvanizing)
6. Changing Material Properties

This is how the different types of Manufacturing Processes relate to each other.
